Caitlin Coreris was the youngest painter ever to exhibit at the Emeryville Art Exhibition and has exhibited in galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Providence, Rhode Island. She is currently working in her painting studios in Providence and Emervyille, California building a body of work.
Caitlin's strong attachment to Old Master Techniques—with influences from Rembrandt, Bouguereau, Francis Bacon, and Lucian Freud to name a few—is the basis of her exploration to discover her own distinct painting style and color palette. She is experimenting with brilliant color and new techniques to express emotion and capture the essence of each subject. Her free flowing abstract expressionism and figurative paintings are highly imaginative and original. Coreris wants to create a visual experience in paint that expresses the way seeing feels. She strives for balance between beauty and her expansive artist vision.
Caitlin Coreris is represented by The Artists Alley in San Francisco, California. Her work is in corporate and private collections internationally.
